One of the things that I love about the South in the United States is the culture. One of the many things they do is paint up the side of old buildings with murals. I have always enjoying stopping and looking at these pieces of God. It is a great joy.
If you ask me, it increases the character of a town but having these murals. It also tells the people something about the residents and the local culture. The long term value of self-expression is what makes America the great country that it is. (Before and after Donald Trump!)
About the image
I was wondering around Cleveland, Tennessee one day (which is just outside of Chattanooga) and saw this image on the side of a local convenient store by Lee University.
I did not have my camera with me so I pulled out my Motorola Moto E5 and took it with my phone. For a phone, it does quite well. It even auto brackets! It is not the quality of a real camera but it is pretty close if you ask me. If you want to get into photography and all you can afford is a phone, this is for sure the one I recommend on the cheap. (By the way, these pictures are straight out of the phone)
Thoughts on Cleveland, Tennessee
I came to see an old friend. It is the hub for several church groups and one of them is the group my friend is part of. Church of God is the largest there and they have a large university in the town, Lee University. In reality, Cleveland is just a Christian college town in many ways.
Oddly, it was from this area that the Trail of Tears started to forced the removal of the Cherokee Indians.
